- Which documents can I generate?
- Terms & Conditions and a Privacy Policy are always generated. A Cookie Policy is added when you tick "Uses cookies", and a GDPR compliance notice is added when you operate in an EU country such as Portugal, Spain, France, Germany or Italy.
- Which fields are required?
- Company name, a valid contact email and the country of operation. The website URL and product name are optional: a bare domain gets https:// added, and the product name defaults to the company name.
- Are these documents legally binding or reviewed by a lawyer?
- No. They are starting-point templates, not legal advice. Have a qualified lawyer review them against your actual data practices and local law before you publish them.
- Is my company information uploaded anywhere?
- No. The documents are generated in your browser and nothing you type is sent to a server or stored.
- How do I add the policy to my website?
- Download the .md file to drop it into a Markdown-based site or docs, or the .txt file for plain text. You can also copy it to the clipboard and paste it into your CMS.
