- Which images can I turn into a mockup?
- PNG, JPG and WebP screenshots. Images at least 800px wide with a roughly 16:10 aspect ratio look sharpest; smaller or very tall images still work, and the tool warns you so you can adjust scale and position.
- What resolution is the exported PNG?
- The MacBook frame is 800×500 and is exported at 2x (1600×1000) or 3x (2400×1500), so it stays crisp on retina screens, slides and portfolio pages.
- Can I export with a transparent background?
- Yes. Choose the transparent background and the PNG keeps an alpha channel around the device, ready to drop onto any design. White, dark and a soft gradient are also available.
- Is my screenshot uploaded anywhere?
- No. The mockup is drawn with the Canvas API in your browser and the PNG is saved directly from there, so nothing leaves your device.
